Jim Pitts Fund For Youth Access

The Jim Pitts Youth Access Fund was established in 2023 to honor Jim Pitt’s legacy as a longtime board member, supporter and advocate for ZACH Theatre, education and the arts. Jim’s departure is a profound loss for all who knew and worked with him. His tireless efforts to make our community and state a better place were truly inspiring and his legacy will continue to impact countless lives. Your contribution in memory of Jim will support ZACH Theatre’s mission-driven artistic and educational programming, and enables us to continue providing exceptional theatre experiences and educational opportunities to children across Greater Austin who may not otherwise have access.

ZACH believes theatre is for everyone. We offer programs and productions for students of all ages, income levels, and interest levels - because theatre supports literacy, confidence-building, and creates empathy. ZACH currently serves over 30,000 students a year, 40% of whom are from Title I schools. In the last year alone, ZACH has provided over $100,000 in financial aid to Central Texas families to ensure finances are never a barrier to participation.
